Phase Dimming Functional Scheme

Description

Phase Dimming Solution is supplement decision that enhances our Qulon System basic solution by adding more intelligent dimming module Qulon-D over existing core module Qulon-C. Such structure helps to plan your future expenditures consciously heading to smarter city technologies step by step.

Key Features

  • Schedule lights on/off
  • Independent dimming of each phase (group of lights)
  • Powerline voltage stabilization
  • Collecting data from electric meter
  • Increases lamp burning hours
  • No need to change old lamp

Dimming Module

Dimming Module QULON-D

Dimming Module QULON-D

Additional dimming module QULON-D is smart supplement decision to stabilize and control voltage in three-phase networks with conventional lamps. Only by providing phase dimming in 170-235V range for 220V networks QULON-D saves up to 40% of energy costs and prolongs bulb lifetime (through “soft start”).

Dimming module provides wide range of diagnostic tools of output power lines as well as incorporates overload protection and short circuit resistance including built-in bypass for emergencies.

QULON-C (Gateway)

Qulon-C is installed into existing lighting cabinet. It controls all electrical equipment in the cabinet- magnetic starters, additional Qulon devices, etc. It also collects all the data from the connected devices via RS-485 interface and then sends it to server via GSM/GPRS/3G mobile network. All the programming of Qulon-C module is done remotely from the software. All created on/off/dimming schedules are stored in it so that connected modules and lights can be controlled without internet connection. Qulon-C can be accessed directly from the software, via SMS or Ethernet cable.

Qulon Software

Lighting control system is managed by an operator remotely from a laptop or even on-the-go from a cellphone. Big data is stored on the server so reports may be generated on the click. Qulon web-based database allows detailed analysis of the system performance.
